Bean Town 01/27/10

After William woke up from his nap today, we all headed out to a furniture store in Mass. And just before you enter the furniture store, there is a little place called Bean Town. It was called this because there were figures/displays all covered or made out of little jelly bellys (jelly beans). It was amazing !!!

They girls check out the ducks and ducklings.... all made of jelly bellys.

Heart Cookies 01/27/10

The girls asked to make Xmas cookies yesterday and I told them Xmas was over.... But we can make Valentine heart cookies. So I bought some cookie dough, some cute sprinkles, and pink, red & white M&Ms. I then rolled out the dough and had them cut out their own set of hearts. Each of them cut out about 8 hearts a piece and sat down to decorate them. Caitlyn loaded her cookies with M&Ms ..... and Charlotte did a little of everything. We then took a few pictures (of course) and then put them in the oven. They came out great !!! Not too soft, not too crunchy...and nothing burnt ! All just right !!

Let's Dance 01/26/10

Little William likes to dance and he is so cute when he moves his arms back and forth as if he is doing the twist! I think he learned this from watching Dora the Explorer with this sisters. He also has a few more moves.... like nodding his head to the beat ...and also rocking his body from side to side. Then after he is done, he claps for himself ! It is so cute ! In the Rain 01/25/10

It rained and rained ....and poured today !!! But despite all the rain we still made it to gymnastics. After we left the gym, we headed back home....and during the drive, Caitlyn asked if she could use her umbrella and go outside. I told her it was raining too hard to go out but she insisted on it.... so I let her and Charlotte stand out in the rain for a few minutes with their tiny pink umbrella. They thought it was a lot of fun but quickly realize that they couldn't really move around and play outside ! We will just have to play outside another day. :)

Train at the Mall 01/24/10

The girls and I spent the day at the Mall of NH. We ate lunch and shopped a little and to our surprise, we came to a train in the middle of the mall. It was a small 3 car train on a small track and it looked like lots of fun! I bought a couple of tickets and the girls were lucky enough to get the front car. It even had a little bell for them to ring. The girls had fun and wanted to ride again....but I told them we will have to come back another time...and maybe we can have little William ride with them. They agreed because he loves trains !!

Saturday Sledding 01/23/10

We went to Stratham Park to go sledding today ! There were many small hills and an area made of solid ice where we saw a few people ice skating. It was a beautiful day and the girls were eager to start sledding right away. They went down several times by themselves and even pulled their own sled up the hill! William got a chance to sled down with his daddy and he too enjoyed it !! After awhile, Chris put all three of the kiddos on the sled and pulled them around the ice !!! They loved how fast they went .... We had a great day and will be back again soon !!!

Coin Candy 01/22/10

We went to the mall this afternoon and everytime we come thru the side entrance, we pass all the coin candy machines! It is always hard to get the girls to walk past them without asking for candy! So I promised them I would buy them some candy if they behaved in the mall (and let mommy get in a little shopping). After a few hours of play area and a few tears in a few stores... and a few fight break ups, I still gave in and bought candy. :)


The girls favorite candy is the fruit shaped hard candy !!! Mine too !

Bear Caves 01/21/10

Today the girls came home from preschool with a few art projects. This week they were studying bears in hibernation so the students created bear caves. They were so excited to show us and explained how the bears sleep inside all Winter.

These are little bear caves with snow on top and around it...and pinecones.

These are large bear caves... they used a special clay to cover the top. Caitlyn didnt quite cover all of it...

Window View 01/20/10

Today we woke up to a beautiful sunny snowy day ! It was a winter wonderland outside and it was pretty to look at thru all our windows! I thought of getting drapes but I dont think I will ever need them...

Pizza Toast 01/19/10

Today we were craving pizza so we decided to make our own little pizza using our toaster. We took two slices of bread, then spread a little spaghetti sauce on it, then sprinkled shredded mozzarella cheese on top. We placed it in our toaster oven....and voila !! Pizza Toast ! The girls loved it .... a great little lunch or snack. Next time I think we will put pepperoni or ham slices on it for a little pizzazz.

Winter Wonderland 01/18/10

Today we woke up to lots of snow....beautiful snow !!! It was a total Winter Wonderland out in our front and backyard! The girls got to enjoy a little bit of it today while Chris shoveled....and shoveled ...and shoveled. He claimed he got his work out today. :)

William and his fork 01/17/10

William has been eating a lot of what his sisters have been eating....and wants to use a fork too. So with every meal, I have been giving him his fork. He has become real good at it.... and I am so happy that he is able to do it on his own. Check him out !

Candyland and Grandparents 01/16/10

Chris and I were dying to see that new movie Avatar so we invited the girls' grandparents down for dinner and babysitting. They were so happy to do it and wanted very much to see the grandkids. So as we were leaving, the girls set up their Candyland game and asked their grandparents to play one game before bedtime. I heard it was a good game and that their Granddaddy won.
We, on the other hand, enjoyed the movie Avatar !!! and encourage everyone to see it !

Little Ski Bunnies 01/16/10

It was a warm sunny Winter day .... perfect for skiing. Chris wanted to head out and thought it would be a great time to get the girls skiing.... so we signed them up for their first ski lesson. We headed up north to a little ski area. They had a great set up... different ski hills, ski lifts, a lodge area, food stands, rentals, lessons, and a little day care area. It was awesome !!!
I was really impressed at how the girls were eager to learn. They listen and did everything their instructor told them to do. They even tried out a few runs after their lesson with their daddy. After a while, they were pretty good at it !!!

The 3rd Seat 01/15/10

Thanks to our neighbors, we inherited their see-saw or teeter-tawter (as the kids would call it). The girls just love it and would ride on it a lot. But when William would come around, he would whine about wanting to ride it too. Thank God there is a 3rd seat in the center for him to ride along ! It is perfect...and I dont have to do anything but watch (and take pictures).
Hopefully someday William will be able to ride the end seat, he just needs to gain some more weight!

Fancy Shoes 1/14/10

Today we got a package in the mail from the Philippines !!! It was from our grandparents, lola and lolo. We opened it up and it had a couple of nice dresses, two outfits for William, and some very very fancy pairs of shoes. Caitlyn was immediately drawn to the white strappy pair with different colored metallic hearts on them....and Charlotte loved the pink strappy sparkly diamond pair. Both pairs were too big, but they wore them all day around the house. We will definitely wear them this summer ....but without the socks !!!

A Boy's Best Friend 01/13/10

The girls have each other....and little William has Dusty Rose !!! He just loves to chase her around the house...and when he does catch up to her, he pats her back, pulls her tail, yanks on her ears, and even pokes at her eyes. After awhile Dusty has had enough and will growl at William.... she then tries to run off and hide. She is a good dog to him... never snaps or bites just growls. William thinks its funny - I can always hear him laugh and giggle around Dusty. I think he makes it up to her later by throwing his food on the floor for her to eat. :)

Today William wanted to play catch with Dusty's favorite squeaky Santa doll.

Mommy's Little Helper 01/12/10

Last night I was trying to get dinner ready when William started to whine and follow me around the kitchen. He was hungry and he always has a way to let me know it. So I put him in his high chair and asked Caitlyn to help feed her little brother. She was very happy to help and started to scoop little spoonfuls into his mouth. He was very content and enjoyed it !! After all was done, he was a happy camper ! Thank you Caitlyn - you were a big help !!!

Busy Monday ! 01/11/10

Today was a very busy day !!! To start it off, little William decided to put his peanut butter sandwich in his hair !!! ugh! So before I cleaned him up, I styled it a bit and took this picture... Whatta ham !

Next I put them all in the tub for a bath. They had a great time and splashed water everywhere !!! The girls thought it would cute to put their hair up just like mommy does !!

Then we took the girls to gymnastics and little William was everywhere and in everything !! Got Milk?

Lastly after dinner, little William decided to poke Dusty in the eye !!! yikes !!! Fortunately, he didnt touch her pupil and she is okay !
