Vanessa and Frank sent us a beautiful Christmas flower arrangement today. They wanted to be part of our family gathering and so this was a way they could be with us. It was a quiet Christmas Eve. We ate dinner early and the kids went to bed. We all gathered around the tree and organized the hundreds of gifts. Since there were so many gifts, we decided that it might be best for the adults to open a few. That way the kids can enjoy more time opening gifts Christmas morning and we can enjoy the moment with them.
