Science, Potter & Birthday in Boston 02/06/10

Today Chris organized a family outing to Boston's Museum of Science ....and surprised me with a visit to the Harry Potter exhibit. The exhibit was only going to be shown in two cities on the east coast and he wanted to make sure I saw it before it left Boston. The place was packed ....But we got to see a lot.... ie. Dinosaurs, the computer science section, the human body section, the automobile section, the childrens exploration section, etc. It was a fun day !!!

We went to the dinosaur section.... This is William saying hello to the T-Rex...

Chris showing William the model trains.....

The girls and their grandfather checking out a few of his favorite cars...

The girls examining different rock types...

The girls comparing their handprint to this foot print....

The girls trying out this velocity experiment at the childrens center...

Caitlyn checking out the DNA Molecule.... I think she thought they were gumballs....

I got to check out the Harry Potter exhibit on my own.....
No photography allowed but this is the one picture I was able to take....

After a long day at the museum, we all met Auntie Cass at a restaurant in Melrose to celebrate her birthday ! We had a nice quiet dinner together.....and had some really good seafood !
