Raincoats 03/23/10

It started to rain today! It was coming down pretty hard! But the girls did not mind at all...in fact they were thrilled because they got to wear their new raincoats that their Auntie Vanessa gave them for Xmas. They were a tiny bit big but still fit well! This is a picture of them just before going to school.

William and shoes 03/22/10

William got a hold of the girls white dress shoes today.....and it was amazing how he lined them up perfectly on the kitchen floor. He then tried to put his feet in them but was having difficulty.... so funny to watch !!! check out this video:

Birthday Brunch 03/21/10

Today Cass and Briana were joining us for Sunday Brunch to celebrate my birthday weekend long celebration ! We went to the Exeter Inn's Epic Restaurant. It was a beautiful place with great food.... seafood lobster, oysters, crab... then omelet station and desert station. Everything I like to eat !!! I also enjoyed a few mimosas !
Then after brunch there was a little cake waiting for me at home. We lit the candles and the girls helped me blow them out. It was a perfect end to my birthday weekend !!!

Beach day in March ? 03/20/10

It turned out to be a sunny and warm day today ! So we headed down to the beach to check it out....and we were not the only ones !!! The parking lot was full and lots of people were down at the beach. Even a few brave ones were in bathing suits!
The parking lot was also full of sand !!! Looks like the previous storm had blown all the sand over the railings, sidewalk, and parking lot.... there were little sand dunes everywhere.
We got to walk around a bit.... then later sat in the sand and relaxed - and watched all the kites in the sky !!

Lily's 5th Birthday Party 03/20/10

Our neighbor Lily was turning 5 today and she was having a little birthday party at Rumble Tumble in Portsmouth. It was a great place.... they had a jungle gym, a little basketball half court, two trampolines, gymnastic bars, and lots of mats to tumble on ! I brought little William along and he even had a fun time !
We enjoyed cheese pizza for lunch.....and then later watched Lily make a wish and blow out her candles for her birthday !!! She looked so happy on her special day ! Happy Birthday Lily !!

Happy Birthday Mommy 03/19/10

Today was my birthday.....and funny thing !!! I dressed these girls in shirts that said "42"....and I didnt mean to !!!!
We got a sitter tonight and we went to a GREAT Japanese restaurant in Portsmouth NH.... I had the beef teriyaki and a california roll !!! It was terrific ! We are definitely going back ! Then we top off the night we a quick trip to the casino - no luck but lots of fun !!!

St Patricks Day 03/17/10

Happy St Patricks Day everyone !!!!!!!!
Today we put on our green and headed over to the Build A Bear store for one of those cute -adorable St Patricks Day green shamrock bears !!! I thought we just had to have them -plus it had been a long while since we had gone to Build A Bear. As soon as we got there, the girls went immediately to the bins and picked out their green bear.... then they met the sales lady at the "stuffing" machine so she can help bring their little bears to life.... then they were off to the bathtub to get them all cleaned up. Caitlyn named her bear "Shamrock"....and Charlotte named her bear "Patrick". Soooo cute !!! William didnt get a bear this time....all he did was throw them on the floor so I figure we can wait til next year for him. :)

Shaped Pancakes 03/15/10

This morning the girls asked for pancakes....and I thought it would be neat to cut out their pancakes in different shapes. I made little butterflies, a rabbit, and a flower for each of the kiddos and surprised them when they came to the table. They ate the pancakes in no time.... Maybe I should cut out their food in different shapes more often?

1st Runner Up WEE MISS New England 03/13/10

Caitlyn had to return to the Wee Miss Competition this year because she was the reigning WEE MISS Northern New England 2009....and she had to help crown the new winners this year. Charlotte was competing this year and I was hoping that Caitlyn would be the one to crown her sister - that would be neat !!!
There were a lot more contestants this year....and they added the preteen division to our time slot so it was longer than last year. Charlotte did a great job of getting on stage and waving and blowing kisses. She won Best Dress and 1st Runner up! We couldnt have been so proud !!! Congratulations Charlotte !!!

Early Birthday Dinner 03/11/10

It was our last night in Florida....and the family took me out to Charlie's Crab Restaurant for an early birthday celebration ! It was a very nice restaurant with a great seafood menu. I ordered the salmon and lobster bisque soup....and it was delicious !! After dinner, the waiter brought me a chocolate cake and the family sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I made my wish and blew all my candles out with the help of the girls !!! It was a very special evening and I enjoyed it very much !!!

Florida Intercoastal 03/10/10

Today we rented a boat and decided to cruise the intercoastal with the family....It was beautiful !! We saw lots of restaurants, yachts, and HUGE mansions! Some houses were so big that I thought they looked like hotels !! The scenery was awesome and the boat ride was very relaxing !

Lion Country 03/09/10

Today we met up with the kiddos Grandparents and went to Lion Country in West Palm Beach. It was a safari where you could drive your car through it and see all the different wild animals. It was amazing to see them just roam right in front of your car.... or just sit on the side of the road staring right into your window. I manage to take some real great shots....and they are all with the window up !!! Afterwards, we went to the park facility where they had other little animals and a few rides. We ate lunch there and then walked the whole park. It was a great day....not too sunny just right!

We visited the "lorikettes" exhibit and they were very friendly....landed on our arms, hands and head.... the girls got a kick out of them....
