As soon as the girls got home from school today, they immediately reached into their bags and pulled out their Penguin projects! They were so excited about showing them to me and explaining how they were made. Caitlyn says they used paper plates, white feathers, colored paper and two button eyes. Charlotte's penguin was missing an eye but she didnt care....she says he was seeing with one eye. They did a really great job!
Charlotte did a second project and showed me her painting (not sure why Caitlyn didnt have a painting? - but she said she didnt want to paint). I asked Charlotte what she painted and she said they were mountains. I told her it was beautiful and I need to hang it somewhere so we can look at it everyday !!! (I wonder if she remember the mountains from last summers trip to Sebago Lake?) hmmm.....
