It dawned on me that our library books may be due so I checked my slip and it was due last week !!!! ugh!!! So I packed up the kids and we headed to Lane library in Hampton.
It is a cute little library... with the basement section dedicated to childrens books, videos, puzzles, and activites. This past Spring, we used to go to storytime on Tuesday mornings. The girls loved it.... we look forward to the Fall session.
Everytime we go to the library, Caitlyn always goes right to the Dora book section and picks out two books. Charlotte, on the other hand, loves to get little Mermaid. I always encourage them to get other books but they insist on Dora and Ariel... so I end up picking out the other books.
After checkout, we go to the puzzle section....and the girls enjoy doing a couple of puzzles. It is so cute to watch them help and praise each other.
William is beginning to crawl a lot so I let him crawl around the baby book section. I would pick out picture books for him... and just point and call out what each picture is. He listens but not sure if he is absorbing it yet.
We had a great day at the library. Lets hope I dont forget to bring the books back on 9/22/09.
