Merry Go Round 02/26/10

We had a big storm last night and we lost power in our house ! We found out that the Mall of NH was open and they had power so while daddy went to work for a few hours he dropped us off at the mall to go on the merry go round! This was the first time little William rode on a horse by himself. When I first put him on, he didnt want to have any part of it but as soon as the ride started he was all smiles and laughs !!

Lobster Cookie 02/24/10

I was going thru one of my kitchen drawers the other day and found a "lobster" shaped cookie cutter. I had bought this a few years ago during my visit to Maine. The girls reminded me today that we were suppose to make cookies and wanted to try out the "lobster" cookie cutter. So I rolled out the dough and they each cut out a lobster but still wanted to have their hearts and stars. They decorated them with sprinkles and M&Ms. It was busy afternoon and all the cookies turned out great even the lobster ones !

Pet Store 02/23/10

The weather forecast called for lots of rain followed by lots of snow tonight so I thought it would be a good idea to get out today! We headed over to the mall to check out the pet store since we have been talking about cats and dogs lately. Unfortunately there were no cats there....and as for the dogs, they were ALL sleeping. The girls were tapping on the windows but the dogs did not move or react. We walked further into the store and found the guinea pigs. They were all awake and eating. The girls enjoyed watching them and wanted to take them home but I told them mommy has a lot to take care of right now so maybe sometime in the future ! haha.

Next, we ran into a few coin operated toy "claw" machines and the girls quickly noticed the Strawberry Shortcake dolls inside. They wanted me to "turn on" the machine and get them. funny!

The girls came across this big gumball machine by the pet store and thought they were marbles.... they wanted to count them all. hahaha.
We had a great day.... and when we got into our car, it started to rain really hard so I am glad we got out today.

I played roulette (and won!) .....and Chris played craps (not so well)..... and then had the best steak at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse. It was to die for !! We had the best time and enjoy it very much !

New Sales Guy 02/18/10

Chris stepped away from his computer and I found little William checking it out! He was staring at the computer screen....pressing keys, poking at the buttons and pointing at the screen....then he babbled and babbled loudly at it ! Kinda reminded me of his daddy !
Could he have a future in sales too??

Snow and Dinosaurs 02/17/10

Today was another snowday - but it was beautiful !! School was canceled so we all stayed in and played together....As we were playing the girls were talking about dinosaurs and started to name a few of them ...so for our project today, I printed up some coloring pages of 3 different dinosaurs - The Raptor, the Teradactyl, and the T-Rex. They did a great job of coloring them ...and I think the rainbow colored ones were the best!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone !!! Today we dressed up in our red Valentine shirts and drove down to Boston to meet the Cadorettes at the Boston Children's Museum !! The girls were excited to see their friends Chloe and Avery again after not seeing them for a few months. While William napped today the girls and I went down to the basement to get some energy out!! I worked out and the girls jumped around in their bouncy house. They love it ...and I love it too because afterwards they just want to chill out which is great !!! :)

Valentine Goodies 02/10/10

Uh-Oh Spaghetti-O 02/09/10

I normally cook macaroni and cheese or the tube, or the corkscrew noodles for the kiddos' dinner but since I was all out, I decided to try just regular noodles tonight. I broke the noodles in half before putting them into the pot....and then cut them up some more when I served them. They had a difficult time eating them at first but when I showed them how to roll the noodles onto their fork, they slowly got the hang of it. William on the other hand, just ate his one by one. He did a great job and so did the girls !!!
