William's New Friends 06/25/10

Another hot day so that meant "WaterCountry"! It was a fun time.... we went on the pirate ship... hung out by the whale... and just ran around the shallow water pool! It was so cool and refreshing.
After our dip, we went back to our lounge chairs for snacks.....and William found a couple of friends to hang out with. They were playing with the little rocks around the trees. It was so cute to watch so I just had to snap this shot !

He Can Climb 06/24/10

We have been to the mall playground a million times and today was the first day that William climbed up the Octopus slide all by himself !!! He is thrilled and now he can go up and down the slide as many times as he wants to !! yay !

Yellow flowers & Ballerina dancing 06/22/10

On the side of our yard the yellow flowers bloomed like crazy !!! There were tall, thick, and a very bright yellow today so I just had to take pictures!

The girls loved their new outfits and felt that their skirts were like ballerina tutu skirts. So they put together a little ballerina routine and performed it just for me! It was so cute ! Check out the video below:

WaterCountry Season Pass 06/21/10

It is officially summer !!!
So we put on our swimsuits and headed over to Watercountry! This year we opted to buy the season pass which pays for itself in two visits so it was definitely worth it. Being that it was Monday, it was not too busy at all. We hung out in the pirate ship area and William had a blast! He went under a few times (due to tripping or slipping) but he didnt care... he would just wipe his face and get right back up! The girls loved the slides and spouts... they didnt stray away from me at all so it was easy to manage all three of them. I only wished that I got to take more pictures....here is the ONE picture I took at the park:

Happy Father's day 06/20/10

Happy Father's day !!! The day was pretty much a relaxed day.... we took walks along the water and sat on the deck watching the waves. We put together a late lunch and sat with our two special fathers! We exchanged cards and gifts. Granddaddy got a book store gift card....and Daddy got two polo shirts from the kids and a fancy flashlight leash from Dusty ! :) We enjoyed the day and had a Happy Father's day celebration !

Hats 06/19/10

Since it was the start of Fathers Day weekend on Peaks Island, the girls thought it would be appropriate to wear daddy's and granddaddy's hats! They were absolutely adorable it them.... they wore them backwards as both their dad and grandad would ....and they were so giggly. It was so cute to watch.
After having pie at the local church bake sale, we headed to the beach to check out the waves and the boats. It was a beautiful day.... water was calm and wind was low. Just perfect for our Father's day weekend ahead!

William's Right Arm 06/17/10

We think William has a great right hand throw ! Check this out !

Twirling Car 06/16/10

While at the mall today the girls hounded me to go on the merry go round but not to ride a pony but to ride the "twirling car". They had seen other kids go nuts spinning around on this thing that they wanted to try it. So I caved in and bought two tickets. The girls didnt spin very fast but the laughter that came out was so cute and adorable. They loved it and just couldnt stop talking about it for the rest of the day !!!

the Stone Zoo 06/15/10

Today we drove up to Stoneham Mass to check out the Stone Zoo. It was a small cute zoo ...perfect for ages 0-6 years old. It was not your typical lion-zebra-girafee-elephant zoo but it had other animals that were interesting and exciting as well.
The kids got to see bears, jaquars, flamingos, deer, wolves, bats, llamas, reptiles, bald eagle, etc...and one the greatest thing about this zoo is that most all of the animals were behind plexi-glass so you can get a look up close and personal. I thought the kids would be scared to get up close but I was wrong....they loved it. It was so wonderful to see their faces and expressions.
The zoo had other activites too....like the petting zoo, the coin operated cars and carousel and a train that cost $2.00 to ride. We ended up buying a season pass so we will definitely be back again soon !

William says hello to the llama....

The bears exhibit was great !!!

A jaguar passes by and the girls got to see him up close....

Caitlyn and William pet the animals in the little petting zoo...

The kiddos enjoy the little merry go round before we leave to go home....
